Homecoming Group Near Bellfountaine

I ran into this group on their way to homecoming.  I had just finished a shoot at a wedding on Belfountaine Road.  I hope they find their way my blog and find these pictures.

Great time with the Bosshardts!

Some time ago Greg, Heather and I agreed to meet for a photo shoot.  Both of our schedules are pretty busy but we were able to find time.  I'm actually happy we waited until the beginning of fall.   We were able to capture some pretty nice colors with the changing of the seasons.

Right in the middle of our shoot Greg found a poor goose that had been caught in fishing line.  We took some time to free the bird and a group of teenagers who initially found the suffering bird called Animal Rescue.

I love taking pictures of couples, you can just feel the love through the pictures.  Take a look at all the pictures on my flickr site.

Dirty Muggs!!

Every Tuesday night the Missouri History Museum in Forest Park hosts "Twilight in the Park"; which features a local band.  This past Tuesday was no exception when Dirty Muggs performed.  I have to admit that I have been a Parliament/Funkadelic fan ever since 1976 when I was a freshman in high school.

Since I have every album and have been to most concerts in the area, I was actually planning to be disappointed.  They broke out with "Cosmic Slop"....I couldn't believe it!!   These guys actually sounded better than the actual Funkadelic live in concert.   They had mastered the original album sound of all the popular Parliament/Funkadelic hits.   I wanted to jump up on stage and play "Do That Stuff" for them.

There is no doubt that I will be checking them out whenever I have the opportunity.   You can check out their website for a calendar of events.  I really wanted to take more pictures but they jammed so hard, that I couldn't stop dancing.   You can look at the few pictures that I did take on my flickr.

Photo Shoot with Ayanna and Angel

I actually met Ayanna, Angel and they manager, Chris, while I was shooting Michael.  We took a few pictures in some really bad lighting so I asked if we could do another shoot in the day.

I think we had a great shoot.  We met at the Grand Basin at the foot of the Art Museum in Forest Park.  The setting sun helped created some really neat shots.

Homecoming Picture!

I hope one of these young women or their parents remember to drop me an email I have a few other pictures from Forest Park yesterday.

Photo Shoot with Michael

I am actually surprised that I have been shooting this long and Michael is my 1st male model.  This was a great opportunity to try to create a few portrait shots as well as some action shots.  So for anyone needing portraits or senior pics....I'm on it now.

Michael was able to go from fashion to athletic at the drop of a hat.   I guess I shouldn't keep saying how much I love the weather, but being able to shoot without pouring sweat is a big deal.  It's also easier on the models.

I forgot to wear my contacts so I lost a few pictures to focus problems.  I'll get them on the next shoot.
